August favorites are here! Everything I loved in the last month!

August Favorites – What I Loved Last Month!

Another month has come and gone by in a flash! August was a blur for me; settling into a new job, moving, and more. Now that September is here, I’m excited for all to come this month, and tons of pumpkin EVERYTHING! Before then, I have to discuss all my August favorites! Every month, I recount all my favorite things I discovered in the month. It’s a great way to reflect back on the month and be grateful!

August Favorites – Beauty Items

So, I bought the Too Faced Primed and Poreless powder on a whim while having my brows brought back to life at the Benefit brow bar. I’m a total sucker for a pretty packaged product, and this pastel compact definitely caught my eye. I decided to take a chance on it, because I didn’t really have any sort of finishing powder in the arsenal, and this one was supposed to kill two birds with one stone, as a primer as well.

This powder is the smoothest consistency I have felt in my life. When I pat this into my skin, my face feels like porcelain because it is THAT smooth. My makeup goes on like a total dream when I use this powder, and I’ve been using it so much that I’m already starting to see the outline of the pan. Total love!

Cheap, cheap, cheap, but well worth the money! I am in love with my Brush Egg! It makes cleaning my brushes so much easier, quicker, and my brushes ACTUALLY get clean. I know so many people who neglect their brushes and let them collect gunk (so much bacteria, yikes!) and with this guy (literally $1) you can scrub all that out on the weekly and start fresh with new brushes. Forever a favorite in my heart.

I’m sure you’ve already seen all the hype around the Norvina Palette from ABH, but really, it’s worth it. This one really feels like Modern Renaissance, and is really worth the money in my opinion! The shadows are really soft and easy to work with, blend easily, and the shades are really unique.

August Favorites – Fashion Finds

I very recently have fallen in love with anything pastel, and this stretchy dress covered in sweets is AMAZING! The material is thick (no see through spots!) and is perfect to twirl in. They come in a massive range of colors and sizes, and have variants with capped sleeves! I really think the print is fun and quirky, and I can’t wait to wear this dress out and about. So cute!

Fun hats are a must when you’re in the sun! This cute hat was sent to me to review, and I really love it! The lettering is embroidered on really nicely, and it’s perfect for keeping the sun off of my face! Plus, who doesn’t love a rosé moment? I’m sad the days for wearing this are winding down, but this will be perfect for my next beach getaway!

Did you have anything that really stuck out for you in the last month? Hopefully next month I’ll have more faves, I was super busy this month with moving and didn’t have a ton of time to shop!

Happy Friday!

xoxo Em

July Favorites – Beauty, Planner Items & More!

Ah, its finally August! This month is big for me, with a giant move, a new school year and more all packed in! We can’t start the new month though without covering my July favorites! I love writing these each month because I always find so many things that are worth writing about!

I did so much this last July. I visited flea markets, took day trips to the beach, and spent some much needed time getting back to myself, and trust me, I am feeling like a totally new person. You never realize how negative you can be when you feel stuck in experiences that make you feel miserable. I am SO thrilled to be back to being myself!

Lifestyle July Favorites

I am finally back to writing all my to do’s down in a physical, paper planner. You would not BELIEVE how much of a difference it’s made for me. It helps me to get so much stuff done, while not forgetting to do the important things! I love my calendar on my computer and my phone, but having somewhere to write things down has been such a giant help for me.

With a cute planner, you need cute pens! I love my pastel pens that help to keep everything looking cute and upbeat! Obviously, this isn’t something you HAVE to have, but having peppy pens is so nice! I keep mine in my bag so I always have them with me.

Another essential for your planner? Planner stickers! I am obsessed with my planner stickers, because again, they help to make it super cute! I love Happy Planner stickers, even though I don’t use a Happy Planner, because they are always really cute and come in a ton of varieties!

This month I also got my Apple Watch! I am totally IN LOVE with it and don’t think that I could live without it now! I was sent a few bands in exchange for my review, and they’re super cute! The pastel bands come in a pack of 9 with more neutral shades and the gold band comes alone! I have to say, I am loving them both! Being able to swap your bands out for different outfits is so much fun!

Beauty July Favorites

It’s no secret that I love beauty and all that comes with it! Getting to try out new treats every month is seriously one of my favorite things.

I have had a sample of the Superhero Mascara by it Cosmetics sitting around in my mascara drawer for a while and just got around to trying it this month and WOW. This is possibly my favorite mascara ever at this point. My lashes are on the sad side; they stick straight out and have no ability to hold a curl. But, this mascara helps them actually be seen, which is somewhat unheard of to me! Totally worth the money.

Will I ever stop mentioning the Mario Badescu sprays? Probably not. As always, these little sprays are a major staple in my beauty routine. I keep one in my bag, because these babies are good for a mid day refresh! They pack in so much moisture without that gross heavy feeling.

Snack July Favorites

Snack all day, everyday.

I am nearly ashamed to admit how much I have been loving these yummy rainbow candies! I keep a bag in my purse for a little mid day pick me up. They aren’t too sour and really are super tasty, and each bag has a super generous amount of candy!

I have fallen in love with Starbucks Refreshers! These drinks are so super good for summer and have just a tiny kick of caffeine to help keep you moving. They are available in tons of delicious flavors too!
