Summer is coming! Is your skin ready yet? I can’t say that mine is. While I don’t tan or anything of that nature, its always nice to have soft, smooth, and radiant skin during summer for when your’e wearing dresses. Influenster was kind enough to send me a sample size of Frank Body Coconut Coffee scrub to try out, and honestly, I’m in love!

I love scrubs, making scrubs, and of course, using them. However, I’m not one to purchase them too often, so I was super pumped that one was included in the Prep VoxBox that Influenster sent me. The scrub that I received was the Frank Body Coconut Coffee scrub, a caffeinated scrub that promised to make my skin radiant and soft. I hadn’t tried out any products from their company before, so I was excited to get to try it out.

The Product

This coconut coffee scrub is:

  • Paraben Free
  • Nut Free
  • Vegan
  • Cruelty Free
  • Made with coconut oil, jojoba beads, coffee, and grapeseed oils

The full sized product comes in a resealable bag, perfect for using again and again

The Experience

One thing that seriously bums me out about scrubs in general is that my bathtub usually is left feeling like a slip and slide. The oil is left behind, and I am left totally unstable and usually sliding around like an idiot. This scrub, however, did not leave my tub feeling slick.

On the flip side through, my tub was covered in coffee grounds. I’m not really a fan of having to clean my tub after a shower. However, this scrub left my skin the smoothest its been in a long while. It does somewhat look like your scrubbing yourself with dirt (ha!) but the smell is fantastic if your’e a fan of coffee. I’m not a coffee drinker, so I wasn’t a fan, but that’s simply because I don’t like coffee. I didn’t find that the scent lingered or was bothersome though. If you’re into coffee, you’ll probably be in love.

Final Thoughts

While I’m not the biggest fan of the mess, I actually think that there is more of this scrub in my future. The scrub is natural, affordable, and really gets the job done. I felt that my skin looked better, more glowy, and I loved how my skin felt after.

Thanks again to Influenster for providing me with this great product to try!

  1. I love body scrubs! I usually use the brown sugar scrub of Skin Food. It’s my first time to hear about the Frank Body Coconut Coffee Srub. Like you I’m also not a fan of coffee but I’d love to try the product.

  2. Oh what a fun body scrub! I’ve had bath bombs that leave muck everywhere, so I also hate cleaning the tub after I bathe!

  3. I don’t believe that I have tried Frank Body products before, it seems like it would be a great product. I think I would be tempered to taste it since it has coffee in it.

  4. I love body scrubs, but the issue with the tub becoming a “slip and slide” is real! I feel like I should try this (carefully) with a mug of coffee in the shower. πŸ™‚

  5. A coffee smelling scrub sounds lovely. Even though I agree that cleaning coffee grounds out of the tub isn’t ideal, it sounds wonderful if it makes your skin that soft.

  6. My skin is definitely not ready for summer! I’ve got problems with acne and wearing anything showing my arms and shoulders is a real nightmare for me. I love scrubs, I’d like to try this one soon. πŸ™‚
